From: David Bergman and Michael Higgins
Michael, David, and Vik are buddies for many years with adventurous spirits! We live in the Atlanta, GA area and have completed multiple Ironman Triathlons, marathons, and other long-distance cycling adventures. Now, we are planning our next endeavor - a bicycle trip across America, from coast-to-coast, in support of a very worthy and respected nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, BlazeSports America, based in Atlanta, GA.
BlazeSports is dedicated to improving the lives of children and military veterans who have disabilities by providing adaptive sport opportunities. This organization currently funds over 25 sports programs, clinics, and camps for children and military veterans with disabilities. BlazeSports simply does great work in many communities and has recently launched collaborative efforts internationally.
David is a Pediatrician at The Pediatric Place (Johns Creek, GA). In his practice he cares for many children with physical and mental disabilities and enjoys seeing all children thrive. He is an author of children's books, a musician, world adventure traveler, Appalachian Trail hiker, former U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer, husband and father of three fantastic kids.

He is a multi-marathon finisher and insulin-dependent diabetic and volunteers as a dedicated coach for the BlazeSports Track & Field team, having successfully trained Paralympic High School All-Americans. Michael recently was honored by BlazeSports for his volunteering efforts and commitment to training athletes with disabilities.

Vik is a resident of Johns Creek, GA. He is a System's Engineer at Georgia's Own Credit Union (Atlanta, GA). Vik has a great passion for the outdoors as he spent his childhood growing up in the Himalayas. That’s why he is fondly referred to as “The Sherpa” by his cycling companions. So hiking and biking have been a big part of his life. He also loves to read, listen to music and play drums. He is a loving husband and father of two amazing teenage children.

Who's Who? Michael is "Captain America" and David is the "Canada Goose."
Mission Accomplished in Nova Scotia, Canada! Now on to Blaze Across America!!!
